C2 Robotics is a leader in robotics, autonomous systems and artificial intelligence based in Melbourne, Australia. Innovation, rapid concept development and iterative prototype fielding is at our core, with a key focus on developing innovative systems across the maritime, land and air domains. Our team is comprised of a group of highly experienced industry veterans and a leadership team that includes founders of previous highly successful Defence and aerospace companies in the AI and robotics fields.

To develop intelligent Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) that can be produced in high volume, have low or no reliance on GPS and high-bandwidth datalinks and are attritable.

Michael Bailey
Founder & CEO
Mike’s career started in cinematography for well-known motion pictures, where he received an academy award for technical achievement. In 2006 he founded Ascent Vision Technologies Australia (AVTA), which grew into a world leader in counter drone and UAV optical and thermal imaging systems. AVTA led counter drone developments for major US procurements and was fully acquired by CACI in 2020.
Thomas Loveard
Founder & CTO
Tom holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. In 2003 he co-founded Sentient Vision Systems, where he led the development of autonomous detection solutions including the award winning MTI and ViDAR systems. He joined AVTA in 2016 as the CTO, where he championed the development of the world’s best micro gimbal and cutting-edge targeting gimbal systems.
Daniel Neish
Founder & COO
Dan holds degrees in mechatronics engineering and software development. He has over 14 years of experience in developing product concepts through to supporting products in the field across the automotive, Defence and medical industries. His past roles include hardware team lead at Sentient Vision Systems, co-founder of Sentient Bionics and R&D manager at AVTA.
