C2 Robotics Speartooth steals the show at IndoPacific 2025

C2 Robotics’ demonstration of its Speartooth Large Uncrewed Underwater Vessel launching an XIT UAV attracted plenty of attention at the recent Indo Pacific 2025 convention. Visitors were struck by the graphic illustration of what LUUVs can now achieve, stopping to take video of the fuselage hatches opening up and the drone vertically launching.

The striking technology was well covered by Channel 7’s news team in this video.

We were honoured to receive a visit from Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy and VADM Mark Hammond, the Chief of Navy, as well as dignitaries from many countries including the New Zealand and German Chiefs of Navy.

C2 Robotics partnership with Austal and Thales Australia to develop an integrated ASW sensor network was also unveiled (and is covered in a separate blog post).

We also displayed our Pack Mule UGVs in public for the first time and showcased our Sentinel Storm counter UAS/air defence system. More to come on them.

But perhaps the biggest accolade came from the Department of Defence’s autonomous systems guru, Keirin Joyce. We’ve always known that Speartooth is pretty cool, but now it’s official: Keirin declared Speartooth launching drones to be the coolest thing at IndoPac 2025. See Keirin’s LinkedIn post here.
